Photographing Miami Heat Star Bam Adebayo for ‘The Reel’
Every shoot has its own unique charm, especially when the subject is Miami Heat’s very own Bam Adebayo. On Friday, May 2nd, we set up in a vibrant space in Coral Gables, FL, capturing engaging and authentic moments as part of HoH’s hit interview series, ‘The Reel.’
Hosted by Lucas Brody, The Reel features athletes reliving some of their career’s most iconic moments, sparking genuine reactions and insightful conversations. Photographing Bam in this relaxed and candid environment was a true pleasure, offering numerous opportunities to capture his genuine personality and candid reactions.
The atmosphere on set was collaborative and energetic, perfectly aligning with the casual yet insightful nature of the series. With professional coordination by Jasmine Morman from WBD and Sara Kissane at Assignment Desk, everything flowed smoothly, making it a seamless experience.
Capturing these authentic moments behind the camera reminded me why I love photographing sports personalities—it’s all about the genuine, unscripted interactions that reveal the true character of these incredible athletes.
