WHO IS STEVE?

Hello, I’m Steve Boxall. I’m originally from the UK and now happily based in Miami. I like to say, "I'm all about capturing images of a fabulous life" and when I say that, honestly, it's completely true.

My speciality is photographing real people at work, the crews, teams, and individuals who keep things moving, often in places that aren’t designed to be photo studios. There’s humour, pride, and personality in everyday work life, and that’s where I’m most at home. That said, my work also crosses into fashion, lifestyle, and more styled shoots when the brief calls for it, especially when those worlds overlap.

Whether I’m shooting for clients, family, collaborators, or myself, I’m driven by the same thing, making honest, engaging images that tell a story and don’t take themselves too seriously. I enjoy working from concept through to delivery, keeping things efficient, collaborative, and enjoyable for everyone involved.

I’m comfortable working fast, working light, and adapting to whatever the day throws at us, while still creating images that feel considered and human. If there’s a way to make a setup feel more natural, or a moment feel more real, I’ll find it.

Ask me about spending a full day floating in zero gravity, [spoiler alert] it has nothing to do with once being a legal-alien!
